On October 4, 2024, Ms. Usa Thonapalin, the Director of Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3 (ROAE 3), along with the staff of OAE3, attended a meeting of the heads of government agencies in the economic sector in Udon Thani Province at the Phaya Sri Suriyawong Conference Room in the Udon Thani Provincial Hall. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Governor of Udon Thani (Mr. Surasak Aksornkul) and included heads of government agencies from the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Local Administrative Organizations, specifically the Subdistrict Administrative Committee.
   The meeting had an important agenda: to discuss the guidelines for promoting occupations in 2025 aimed at creating jobs and generating income for the people. This included cultivating various crops such as turkey berry, NaYung coffee, Musa balbisiana bananas, Pisang Awak bananas, beef cattle, and frogs, as well as identifying sources of funding to support these occupations. Additionally, the meeting aimed to consider ways to integrate the work of agencies within the economic mission group. During this session, the director of OAE3 presented funding sources for promoting occupations from the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), specifically the Agricultural Production Structure Adjustment Fund (Free Trade Agreement: FTA). This fund aims to enhance production efficiency, improve quality, process products, and add value to agricultural and food products, as well as facilitate the transition from producing low-potential goods to those with higher potential.
