The Director of Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3 Attends the 3rd Provincial Agricultural Committee Meeting in Udon Thani (2024)
On October 15, 2024, Ms. Usa Thonapalin, the Director of Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3 (ROAE 3), along with Ms. Rujira Talakhun, Computer Technical Officer, attended the 3rd Provincial Agricultural Committee Meeting in Udon Thani at the Jidapha Durian Orchard, Wiang Kham Sub-district, Kumphawapi District, Udon Thani Province. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Surasak Aksornkul, Deputy Governor of Udon Thani, who was acting as the provincial governor, along with heads of government agencies, representatives from regional and central agencies, heads of state-owned enterprises under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives in Udon Thani, farmers, and relevant stakeholders.
The main agenda included the progress monitoring of key policy implementations by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives and the province, such as the World Horticultural Expo, preparations for the Si Mueang Field event, and plans to establish a sufficiency economy learning center at the Jidapha Durian Orchard, Wiang Kham Sub-district, Kumphawapi District, Udon Thani.
Additionally, the Director of Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3 reported on the progress of the agricultural information system development in a dashboard format using Looker Studio, which has been continuously updated since 2023. Recently, a fourth hands-on training workshop was conducted for new responsible staff on July 10, 2024, at Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3. Currently, there are a total of 90 diverse datasets from 23 agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture.
