On December 4, 2024, Ms. Usa Thonaphalin, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 3, and Ms. Pawalisa Sirikul, Director of Research and Evaluation group, along with staff, participated in the World Soil Day 2024 ceremony. The event was held to honor and pay tribute to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, who was the first global recipient of the International Soil Science Union's Humanitarian Soil Scientist Award. This year's ceremony was organized under the theme "Caring for Soils: Measure, Monitor, Manage" at the Thung Sri Muang Udon Thani. Mr. Rachan ChunHaw, Governor of Udon Thani Province, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by volunteer soil experts, government officials, the general public, and students who explored the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives' exhibition.
During the event, staff from ROAE3 conducted a satisfaction survey of the ministry's exhibition to gather insights and develop improvements for future displays, ensuring a more engaging and informative experience for visitors.
