Between December 4 and 15, 2024, the Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3 (ROAE3) conducted a field survey to monitor the production and marketing situation as part of preparing the Agricultural Economic Conditions report for Q4 2024 and the 2025 forecast. Miss. Usa Thonapalin, the Director of ROAE3, assigned Mr. Thasin Sitthiphrom, Plan and Policy Analyst, and Miss. Sirinapa Taokhotsri, Plan and Policy Analyst, both from the Agro Economic Zone Development Planning Group, to carry out the survey.
The survey was conducted in Nong Bua Lam Phu, Loei, Sakon Nakhon, and Bueng Kan provinces. The team interviewed farmers engaged in crop production, livestock farming, freshwater fisheries, agricultural service providers, and agricultural product buyers.
