On January 9, 2025, Ms. Usa Tonapalin, Director of Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3 (ROAE3), attended a meeting to discuss preparations for the Agricultural Fair in Udon Thani Province. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Governor Mr. Nattapong Wongkhampin. The fair is part of the project to promote sustainable agriculture in Udon Thani Province under the theme "Farmers Ready to Serve: Shop, Taste, and Develop Sustainable Careers at the Rice Field." This event is a collaboration between the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Thai Industries, agricultural groups, and other sectors. The fair is scheduled for the second week of May 2026 and will feature two main activities:

1. Development and promotion of value-added processing (with two sub-activities: training farmers and building networks).
2. Product and merchandise exhibition (with seven sub-activities: publicity, sales and product display, technology exhibitions, knowledge exchange, business matching, evaluation, and reporting).
