On Monday, February 26, 2025, Miss Usa Thonapalin, Director of the Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 3 (ROAE3), assigned Mrs. Athitaya Doungjunta, Plan and Policy Analyst, Senior Professional Level, along with Mr. Supheera Pathumthip, Statistics Officer, and other ROAE3 staff members, to participate in the wreath-laying ceremony honoring the Father of Thai Cooperatives on the occasion of National Cooperative Day 2025.
The event was held at the Siam Montra Conference Room, Siam Grand Hotel, Mueang District, Udon Thani Province, and was presided over by Mr. Rachan Sunhua, Governor of Udon Thani Province. This year marks the 109th anniversary of Thai cooperatives, celebrated under the theme:"Strong Cooperatives, Stable Thai Economy."
The ceremony featured a floral tribute to Prince Pitayalankorn, the Father of Thai Cooperatives, followed by a pledge to cease agricultural waste burning, symbolized through a commemorative photograph.
In addition, the event included various activities, such as:
• Religious ceremonies in honor of the Father of Thai Cooperatives.
• Presentation of certificates and marketing equipment to cooperatives.
• A rice donation to the Thai Red Cross Society, Udon Thani.
• A charitable donation of 10 scholarships to support those in need.
• Exhibitions and cooperative enterprise booths.
• A blood donation drive in observance of National Cooperative Day 2025.
