On February 28, 2025, Ms. Usa Thonapalin, Director for Region of the Office of Agricultural Economics 3 (ROAE3), attended a meeting to follow up on the progress of the implementation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives' inspection plan for Udon Thani and Nong Khai provinces. The meeting was organized by Ms. Narumon Sanguanvong, the Inspector of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Region 10, for the fiscal year 2025, Round 1. During the meeting, the Director of ROAE3 reported on the progress of the implementation of Policy 9, which focuses on agricultural facilitation. The report covered the agricultural disaster prevention project (Rice Crop Insurance Project for the 2024 Production Year) in Udon Thani and Nong Khai provinces. This included information about farmers who received insurance premiums and compensation payments for agricultural disaster losses, covering both basic insurance (Tier 1) and voluntary insurance (Tier 2). Additionally, the report outlined the plans for premium refunds after the conclusion of the project, as well as the challenges encountered and proposed solutions for the future.
