Roae9, The Workshop on Southern Fruit Management Preparation for 2025

Mr. Phaitoon Silaphat, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 9, assigned Mr. Thanongsak Damrungnukul, Director of the Agricultural Information Section, along with Miss Sineenat Paisan, Agricultural Statistician, and Mrs. Uthaiwan Jitnuan, Policy and Planning Analyst, to attend the Workshop on Southern Fruit Management Preparation for 2025 at the Siam Oriental Hotel, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.The event was hosted by the Agricultural Promotion and Development Office Region 5, with participation from several relevant agencies, including the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 8, the Agricultural Information Center, the Office of Agricultural Economics, the Agricultural Products Promotion and Management Bureau, the Department of Agricultural Extension, and the provincial agricultural offices from 14 Southern provinces.
The meeting focused on reviewing key areas, such as newly planted areas, areas cleared for cultivation, areas yielding fruit for the first time, mature fruiting areas, and overall production areas for four main fruit crops: durian, mangosteen, rambutan, and longkong. The aim was to prepare for the effective management of Southern fruit production in 2025.
