Mr. Paitoon Silapat, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 9, assigned Mr. Somchai Khankhamanee, Director of the Agricultural Economic Development Planning Division, and Ms. Pimmala Jangchai, an operational statistician, to participate in an official field visit to Yala Province by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mr. Itthi Sirilatthayakorn, at the Pattani Irrigation and Maintenance Project in Ta Sae Subdistrict, Mueang District, Yala Province.
During the visit, Mr. Ampol Phongsuwan, Governor of Yala Province, delivered a welcome speech, while Mr. Pongsak Yingchoncharoen, Mayor of Yala City, presented issues and needs related to the flood prevention project. This was followed by a briefing from Mr. Chaloemchai Treenarin, a representative of the Royal Irrigation Department, summarizing the project’s progress.
The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Mr. Itthi Sirilatthayakorn, instructed relevant agencies under the ministry to proceed with the necessary actions. He then presented agricultural land title deeds and took commemorative photos with ministry officials and farmers attending the event.
