Director of ROAE2 joins in following the Deputy Prime Minister and the executives of the MOAC to visit the flood-affected areas in Nan Province

On Sunday, August 25, 2024, Ms. Thanphicha Theeraratchanon, Director of Office of Agricultural Economics Region 2 (Director of Office of Agricultural Economics Region 2 Phitsanulok), along with Ms. Panrada Thareun, Policy and Plan Analyst, joined in the field visit to follow the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai) acting on behalf of the Prime Minister and the executives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, led by Mr. Aphai Sutthisang, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Dr. Thaweesak Thanadechopol, Inspector-General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and Mr. Thiti Lohachotiphan, Assistant Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, to learn about the current water situation, visit to give encouragement and distribute relief bags to flood victims at Wat Amphawan (Muang Tai), Tambon Si Bhum, Amphoe Tha Wang Pha, Nan Province, with Mr. Chainarong Wongyai, Governor of Nan Province. Welcome and report on the situation

Deputy Prime Minister Bhumtham has given the following instructions:
1. The Ministry of Commerce: Help control the prices of consumer goods to be at a fair level.
2. The Ministry of Transport and the Provincial Administrative Organization: Expedite the survey, rehabilitation and improvement of various roads and transportation routes to be usable as soon as possible.
3. Relevant agencies, such as the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Interior, can use the central budget to help those affected by the disaster according to the regulations.
4. All agencies must use GIS to analyze the overall area to prepare a plan for the rehabilitation of the area after the flood recedes.
5. The Ministry of Interior and related sectors: Expedite the repair of the water and electricity systems to allow every household to be able to live normally.
