OAE Secretary-General Visits Korat to Accompany the Minister of Agriculture at the ISAN_NEXT Seminar: Transforming Thailand's Economy Amid Global Challenges

On December 20, 2024, Mr. Chantanont Wannakejorn, Secretary-General of the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE), along with Miss Pornchata Bussuwanno, Agricultural and Rural Development Policy Specialist, visited Nakhon Ratchasima Province to accompany Prof. Dr. Narumon Pinyosinwat, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, and her executive team at the ISAN_NEXT seminar.

The seminar, titled "Transforming Thailand's Economy Amid Global Challenges," was held at the Rangsarit Auditorium, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. Mrs. Sujaree Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 5, was present to welcome the attendees.

During the event, Minister Narumon delivered a special lecture on the topic "Soil and Water: The Lifeblood of Isan Farmers." She emphasized the policies of "Good Soil, Good Water, and Effective Management," aiming to enhance the income and quality of life for farmers in the Isan region. These initiatives align with the government's vision to ensure that all Thais have sufficient food, resources, dignity, and pride in their lives
