OAE Region 5 Participates in the Opening of the 5th “Delightful Walk Through Khok Kruat of the Past” Festival

On Friday, December 20, 2024, at 5:30 PM, Mrs. Sujaree Picha, Director of the Office of Agricultural Economics Region 5, assigned Miss Patpiral Rattanasukolpat, Head of the General Administration Division, along with representatives from OAE Region 5, to attend the 5th “Delightful Walk Through Khok Kruat of the Past” Festival held at Khok Kruat Railway Station, Mueang District, Nakhon Ratchasima.

The event, under the Community Tourism Development Project, was presided over by Mr. Samart Suwannamanee, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

The festival aimed to promote tourism and stimulate the local economy by leveraging community strengths and showcasing local products. It also sought to preserve and celebrate the cultural heritage and traditions of villages and communities, turning them into cultural assets for wider recognition.

Organized in collaboration with various organizations, agencies, and community groups, the event actively engaged local residents in various activities. This initiative aligns with the philosophy of sufficiency economy, focusing on improving quality of life, creating jobs, generating income, and promoting community involvement.

Additionally, the festival emphasized inclusivity by encouraging participation from the elderly, children, and youth in the activities. It also supported the government’s policy on driving the Soft Power Industry through the National Soft Power Development Committee, ensuring alignment with the policy framework and the local context.
