the Office of the National Land Policy Board (ONLB) has organized the workshop on the topic of “Laws with the government’s operation”

     During 5-8 March 2024, the Office of the National Land Policy Board (ONLB) has organized the workshop on the topic of “Laws with the government’s operation” and consider aerial photography. Center of Agricultural Information (CAI) have an assignment to Director of Geo-Information and staff attending this workshop. The objectives of the workshop are enhancing knowledge and recognition in laws and regulations for the updated operational functions. Participants of this workshop are the Office of the National Land Policy Board (ONLB) and aerial photograph working groups, which consists of experts and involved government agencies. In the beginning of workshop, they are describing pattern of corruption and ethic elations, conflicts between personal and public interests, and offense under the authority of the Office of National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), as well as promotion and prevention and suppression of corruptions. Furthermore, this workshop has some discussions on the guidelines for the process of proving land ownership rights in the government land areas according to the Cabinet’s resolution on 9th January 2024 for establishing electricity and water, which are pilot projects in the Mae Hong Son and Kanchanaburi provinces. In addition, the working groups have been determined the results of aerial photograph interpretation in this workshop. There are five provinces that led into this determination: Samut Songkhram, Phattalung, Songkhla, Amnat Charoen, and Buri Ram- with the amount of 13 areas, 47 parcels, and 67 map sheets. There are different years aerial photograph for interpretation, which are dependent on characteristics. The aerial photograph interpretation has several purposes such as proving the rights by using specific aerial photographs and survey. Before proposing the interpretation, all proposed areas need to be approved by all working groups. In this workshop, there are proposals for joint working cases between the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE) and ONLB in Phatthalung provinces. There are 3 areas: 1) area of public interest “Animal raising area Bo Klum – Bo Muang, 2) public creek area in the forest area according to the Cabinet’s resolution on 14th November 1961 “Khet Wang forest – Khao Din-Khao Khiao-Khao Ngong”, and 3) area of Crown Property plot no. 429 (reserved as a poverty of the school). Finally, the OAE and ONLB interpretation results, which are passed in the working group, are determined in the overall working groups.
