Missions of Center of Agricultural Information


1. Study, research and development (R&D), plan, and preparation of agricultural information. The agricultural information is crop/livestock/fishery production, costs of production, and socio-economic information, which are also include analysis and publication on agricultural information.
2. Study, research, and develop forecasting approaches, which are include agricultural production situation and damaged crops from natural disasters.
3. Study, analysis, develop and create Geo-Informatics (GI) especially remote sensing technique for agricultural land use classification, agricultural activities, and agricultural suitability. To support for planning on agricultural development and agricultural zoning.
4. Study, identify methods, and preparation on farmer’s registration and agricultural entrepreneur.
5. Study, develop, and create agricultural database, linkages on data and communication] and computer system. Consequently, agricultural information portal of ministry is setting.
6. Study, develop, and create information technology in proper pattern and delivered this information to users in any levels.
7. Cooperate with other related agencies and support any activities as assigned.

1. Agricultural information (agricultural economic information, agricultural researches, and evaluation on agricultural plans/projects) is accurate, update, and accessible.
2. Digital Government Maturity Model (Gartner) level 2.
