OST. participated in a site visit at the Longan Large Plot Group in Nong Tong Subdistrict, Hang Dong District, and conducted a study tour on environmentally friendly coffee waste management at Hillkoff in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province.

On August 13, 2024, Mr. Siprai Bunyadet Secretary of the Office of Agricultural Economics, accompanied Mrs.Tantita Bunyamaneekul Deputy Secretary General OAE., on a field visit to monitor the situation of longan production, as well as the operations of the Large Plot Group and to support the longan produce of farmers at the Longan Large Plot Group in Nong Tong Subdistrict, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai Province. They then proceeded to the Hillkoff Integrated Learning Center for Hill Tribes in Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, to study environmentally friendly coffee waste management, coffee production processes, and participate in a coffee cupping activity to identify coffee character. They also attended a briefing on the center’s operations, which include promoting research, processing coffee into other products ("Jump out of the cups"), and managing waste in an environmentally friendly manner. The visit was accompanied by executives and staff from the Office of the Secretary-General, the Agricultural Information Center, the Agricultural Policy and Planning Division, the Evaluation Center, and the Office of Agricultural Economics Regions 1, 2, 6, 7, 9, and 12.
