"The Seminar on the Presentation of Academic Works in Agricultural Economics for Fiscal Year 2024"

On August 15, 2024, the Office of the Secretary participated in a seminar titled “The Presentation of Academic Works in Agricultural Economics for Fiscal Year 2024,” with Dr. Kanjana Khwanmuang presiding over the opening ceremony at Asawin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok. The seminar's objectives were to present and disseminate the academic work of the Office of Agricultural Economics, gather feedback to enhance the quality of these works, and provide a platform for academic collaboration and knowledge exchange among scholars from the Office of Agricultural Economics and relevant agencies.
This year’s academic presentations will include six research studies:
1. A study on greenhouse gas emissions: A case study of fresh durian and chemically-treated bamboo.
2. A study on the development of online fresh durian marketing strategies.
3. A study on the livelihood security of agricultural households: A case study of rice, maize, and cassava farmers.
4. A study on economic factors influencing farmers' decisions to grow peanuts.
5. A study on the development of Arabica coffee production and marketing in Chiang Mai Province.
6. A study on tamarind processing in Phetchabun Province.
