The Study on the Management of Residual Materials from Shrimp Farming to Create Economic Value aimed to investigate the value chain of managing sludge obtained from shrimp cultivation and strategies for its effective management. This research scrutinized data from the year 2023 obtained from three exemplary agricultural role model farms utilizing silt and sludge for composting, agricultural enhancement, and as feed for aquatic animals. Additionally, data from 127 shrimp farmers across ten provinces including Chachoengsao, Chanthaburi, Trat, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ranong, Surat Thani, and Nakhon Si Thammarat, were compiled. The study sought to understand methods for managing these byproducts and proposed ways to generate additional economic value from shrimp farming activities.
