The objectives of this study were to examine the supply chain management models for rice straw and to develop strategies to increase its value. Data were collected through interviews with farmers who were members of large-scale rice production groups involved in the purchase of rice straw compressors under the New Agricultural Era Large-Scale Farming and Market Linkage Project in 2021. This project included those cultivating rainfed rice in the 2022/23 crop year and wetland rice in the 2022 crop year. The management of rice straw involved 163 farmers in 5 provinces: Nakhon Sawan, Phichit, Kamphaeng Phet, Phetchabun, and Uthai Thani, 25 rice straw collectors, and 25 beneficiaries of rice straw in each province, totaling 213 participants.
