Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok, leads the team to continue the waste management policy with measures to reduce, separate, manage and utilize waste.

Ms. Thanphicha Theeraratchanon, Director of Office of Agricultural Economics Region 2 (Director of ROAE2, Phitsanulok), together with personnel under the organization, continue the activities under the waste management policy with measures to reduce, separate, manage and utilize waste according to the OAE's action plan and the waste management measures of Phitsanulok Province in order to be able to utilize waste more efficiently and create participation of personnel under the organization to carry out activities sustainably.

In this regard, ROAE2 has been driving many activities since the beginning of the fiscal year 2024, starting with the appointment of a working group to reduce waste. ROAE2 has the authority and duty to publicize to create awareness and encourage personnel within the agency to know, understand and manage waste in the organization, as well as to determine measures and guidelines for reducing and separating waste. It has also announced its intention to jointly manage waste within the agency.

For the activities that ROAE2 has already implemented, they include the activities of “Waste Separation”, “Bring Lunch Boxes, No Plastic, Carry Your Own Cup, Carry a Cloth Bag, and Carry a Basket”, “Recycling Market: Golden Waste, Phitsanulok Province”, “Using Weeds and Dry Leaves to Make Compost by Turning and Covering with PD Accelerator to Help Decompose”, and in the fiscal year 2025, ROAE2 has added the activities of “Wet Waste Management and Making Compost Pile by Not Turning and Covering” to enable more efficient use of waste. The resulting fertilizer will be used to nourish trees planted in the office area during the Big Cleaning Day & Landscape Improvement ROAE2 event.
