Our history
The Centre for Project and Programme Evaluation (CPPE) is a unit under the Office of Agricultural Economics (OAE). Previously, it had status as The Division of Project and Programme Evaluation (DPPE). After the Organisation of State Administration Act, B.E. 2544 (2001) and the Reorganization of Ministry, Sub-Ministry, and Department Act, B.E. 2545 (2002) were promulgated. They result in all government agencies having to adjust their roles, missions, and organizational structures. This is in order to be in line with the government’s policy guidelines to develop the Thai bureaucracy to be excellent and able to support the development of Thailand based on the principles of good governance and the welfare of the people. The DPPE was therefore raised to the status of the CPPE as it is today.
