History of the Agricultural Economics Office No. 8

         On October 19, 1972, the Revolutionary Executive Council divided There are 19 economic agricultural zones, resulting in the 17th economic agricultural zone, a separate 
part of Surat Thani Province. which was separated from the 17th Economic Agricultural Zone, Songkhla Province (1972 - 1987).
         On May 26, 1987, the Cabinet at that time passed a resolution acknowledging the division of the new Economic Agricultural Zone into 24 zones, resulting in the Economic 
Agricultural Zone The 17th Songkhla Province Division is the 21st Agricultural Economic Zone, responsible for work in the areas of Surat Thani, Chumphon, and Ranong provinces (1987 - 2002).
          Later, the roles and missions were restructured according to the regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. 2002 and according to the book Office of the Civil Service Commission No. Nor 1009.3/33 dated 10 October 2002 and Nor 1009.0.0/154 dated 23 December 2002 were adjusted from Agricultural Economic Zones 1-24 to

Phuket Province, to become Agricultural Economics Office Zone 8, a status equivalent to the Division.
