The Regional Office of Agricultural Economics 8 ( ROAE 8 ) Partakes in the 5th session of 2024 Strategic Committee Meeting on Provincial Agricultural Development of Nakhon Si Thammarat
On November 25, 2024; In a demonstration of its unwavering commitment to advancing agricultural development, ROAE 8, under the direction of Mr. Nikorn Saengket, delegated Mr. Banjob Soonsuwan, Director of the Research and Evaluation Division, to represent the office at the the 5th session of 2024 Strategic Committee Meeting on Provincial Agricultural Development of Nakhon Si Thammarat, convened at the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Hall. Presided over by Mr. Kittirat Chusaeng, Director of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Agriculture and Cooperatives Office. The meeting served as a vital platform for deliberating strategic initiatives and addressing critical issues in the agricultural sector.
During the session, Mr. Banjob delivered a comprehensive presentation on the Agricultural Economic Outlook for the 3rd Quarter of 2024, along with forward-looking projections for 2024 in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, as well as an in-depth analysis of key agricultural commodities and their anticipated trends for the coming year. Further key agenda items discussed encompassed the following:
- Current water resource assessments and forecasts for potential natural disasters.
- Strategic analyses of key agricultural commodities and their trends for 2024.
- An overview of the province's agricultural economic performance in the 3rd quarter of 2024, along with forward-looking projections for 2024.
- Updates on the inspection activities conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives' Inspector-General.
